Widows

Directed by Steve McQueen, it is based on the 1983 ITV series of the same name. It follows a group of women who attempt a heist in order to pay back a crime boss after their criminal husbands are killed on a botched job. The film stars Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Jacki Weaver, Carrie Coon, Robert Duvall, and Liam Neeson.

Mortal Engines

Directed by Christian Rivers, it is based on the novel of the same name by Philip Reeve. Hester Shaw, a mysterious young woman, joins forces with Anna Fang who is a dangerous outlaw with a bounty on her head and Tom Natsworthy who is an outcast from London, to lead a rebellion against a giant predator city on wheels. The film stars Hugo Weaving, Hera Hilmar, Robert Sheehan, Jihae, Ronan Raftery, Leila George, Patrick Malahide, and Stephen Lang.

Amityville the First

Written and directed by Daniel Farrands, the film is set in 1974 where Ronald DeFeo Jr. took a high-powered rifle and murdered his entire family as they slept. At his trial, he claims that "voices" in the house commanded him to kill. It stars John Robinson, Chelsea Ricketts and Paul Ben-Victor.

Kahit Ayaw Mo Na

Written and directed by Bona Fajardo, it tells the story of Joey who is a fashion designer, Mikee who is a vlogger and Ally who is an aspiring composer. What seemed to be an ordinary trip to Samar turned out to be more than they presume. It stars Empress Schuck, Kristel Fulgar and Andrea Brillantes.
