Cine Lokal opens this year with laughter and love with Ang Taba Ko Kasi, a 2016 entry to CineFilipino Film Festival starting January 12 in select SM cinemas.
From director Jason Paul Laxamana who also directed 100 Tula Para Kay Stella, a featured film of FDCP’s Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 2017, Ang Taba Ko Kasi features curvy and beautiful Pambansang Bestfriend, Ms. Cai Cortez in her first ever leading role, supported by Ryan Yllana and Laluna Sangre’s Mark Neumann.
The story is about a fat girl who is torn between her hot swimming instructor, who motivates her to lose weight, and an equally fat friend, who wants her to accept her appearance.
