The Wait Is Over! Here are 7 Things You Could Do Before Watching ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ this Weekend

With early reviews of the third Thor film coming in and all being high praises, we know this movie is #WorthWaitingThor.

Thor: Ragnarok is now in theaters, and we're pretty sure you've had your own fair share of struggles while waiting. After months of watching teasers and trailers, it's finally here! With early reviews of the third Thor film coming in and all being high praises, we just know this movie is #WorthWaitingThor.

One thing we're sure of, though, there are certain things everyone has gone through while waiting for Thor: Ragnarok. And as much as we don't want to admit it, we all want one thing: to see this Thor film that we hear is totally different from all the other MCU franchise. You still may not realize it but the anticipation is slowly killing you.

You're never too late to catch this film as it's still showing in cinemas today and in the comings days! Before you go gaga over Thor this weekend, here are 7 things you can do to prepare yourselves for Thor: Ragnarok:

1. Watch Thor and relive the first time you realized how perfectly cast Chris Hemsworth was.

Admit it, the first time you saw him on screen, you probably lost what little self-control you had because you were thinking how perfect Chris Hemsworth was for the role. And 6 years later, you still find yourself watching and rewatching it, because… well, why not? Who doesn't need a refresher now that Thor: Ragnarok is coming out, right?

2. See Avengers a.k.a. the film that satisfied the inner fanboy and fangirl in everyone!

Nobody cares if you're a Thor or an Iron Man supporter because when it comes to Marvel's The Avengers, everyone's on the same team (except, of course, if you're a Loki fan)! Just look at them assembling like the epic rock band that they are, ready to take on every nemesis that comes their way!

3. Watch the second Thor film and realize you're confused about which sibling to root for

Are you #TeamLoki or #TeamThor? In Thor: The Dark World, Thor teams up with Loki to save the Nine Realms from the Dark Elves who plans to wreck the universe. After what Loki did, we obviously can't decide whose team we're on!

4. Rewatch the Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron (2014) and geek out over scenes where there may be hints of what to expect for Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok

If you don't know it yet, Marvel films are all connected. Whether it's a cameo or a namedrop, Marvel is great at connecting one film to another. It's like they've all had it planned out from the beginning! In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Scarlet Witch shows Thor a vision of the Asgardians partying like it's the end of the world. In the vision, Heimdall tells Thor everyone's dead and warns them he's taking them all to hell. According to Marvel, Thor: Ragnarok picks up directly after the events of Age of Ultron. Does everything in the vision happen in Thor: Ragnarok? You have to see the film to find out!

5. What would Thor do? Imagine Thor in the real world and think of how he will act in certain situations!

Since he's not from this world, you could only imagine how amusing it is to watch Thor figure out some of the things we do in real life. Just look at the clip of him trying to understand money and making us get how muscles = power. Sure, Thor. If you say so!

6. Get to know Thor's new nemesis, Hela.

If you didn’t already know, Cate Blanchett plays Hela, the Norse Goddess of Death. As to what she can do an how she’ll be defeated – you’ll have to see the film to find out!

7. See all the trailers, clips, and whatever Thor-related content there is and thank God it's opening already!

Or maybe not, especially if you're the kind of fan who wants to watch everything unfold for the first time in theaters, right? Right? Watch all the trailers, clips, and whatever Thor-related content there is and thank the God of Thunder it's opening already!

Why are you still reading this? Go see Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok because the wait has just been too long!

Are you as excited as we are? Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok, distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, is now in theaters nationwide.
