Thought to be safely entombed deep within a dessert, an ancient princess is awakened in present day bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension. The film stars Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance, Marwan Kenzari, and Russell Crowe.
Written and directed by James Gray, it is based on the 2009 book of the same name by David Grann. It tells the incredible true story of British explorer Percy Fawcett who journey into the Amazon at the dawn of the 20th century and discovery evidence of a previously unknown, advanced civilization that may have once inhabited it. It stars Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller.
Directed by Farren Blackburn, it is a psychological thriller horror drama film. A widowed child psychologist who lives in rural New England is caught in a deadly winter storm. She then must find a way to rescue a young boy before he disappears forever. It stars Naomi Watts, Oliver Platt, Charlie Heaton, Jacob Tremblay, David Cubitt and Clémentine Poidatz.
Directed by Robin Dunn, it revolves around Isabel who has just moved to a small town to live with her uncle Paul who is the town's mayor. Feeling very alone and friendless after losing her parents in a car accident, she befriends a stray robot dog named Archie. And although he looks like a normal dog, he isn't. It stars Michael J. Fox, Katharine Isabelle and Jonathan Whitesell.
Directed by Takanori Tsujimoto, it is part of the Resident Evil franchise, set in the same universe as the associated video games. The story is set in between the events of Resident Evil 6 and 7 where BSAA Chris Redfield enlists the help of American government agent Leon Kennedy and Professor Rebecca Chambers trying to stop Glenn Arias from spreading a new deadly virus in New York City.
