WATCH: ‘On The Job’ Sequel To Be Released as Full-length Film and Mini-Series

The sequel to the film On The Job will be released as a full-length film, and will be followed by a five-episode series which will comprise the first season.

Streaming site HOOQ, together with Globe Studios has announced that the sequel to the film On The Job will be released as a full-length film, and will be followed by a five-episode series which will comprise the first season.

Directed by OTJ director Erik Matti and co-produced with Reality Entertainment, the sequel will still be connected to the events of the first film. It will also introduce new characters who will go deeper into the layers and the issues introduced in On the Job. Bela Padilla and Teroy Guzman are set to play two journalists who are investigating on the massacre of eight other reporters.

In the trailer released by HOOQ, Matti said that aside from introducing a new format for the film franchise, the mini-series will also get the audience hooked and excited to watch the issues and the mysteries unfold before their eyes.

The full-length film is expected to be released in cinemas in August 2017, while the first season of the mini-series will come out 6 weeks later on HOOQ.
