Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Written and directed by James Gunn, it is the sequel to 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy and the fifteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, the Guardians travel throughout the universe as they help Peter Quill learn more about his true ancestry. It stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, with Sylvester Stallone, and Kurt Russell.
Directed by Niki Caro, it is based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Diane Ackerman, recounting the lives of the keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, Antonina and Jan Zabinski who helped save hundreds of people and animals during the German invasion. The film stars Jessica Chastain, Johan Heldenbergh, Michael McElhatton and Daniel Brühl.
Directed by Allan Michael Ibañez and Dexter Paglinawan Hemedez, it is a Filipino independent coming of age comedy-drama film and an official entry to the 2nd CineFilipino Film Festival. It tells the story of Maru, a sixteen-year-old incoming freshman from the province leaving his hometown to study in one of the well-known universities in Manila. After a night of being away from his family, he goes home and begs his mother to let him study nearby instead. As his mother rejects his request, his relationship with his mother begins to fall apart. It stars Lotlot De Leon, Allan Paule, introducing Darwin Yu, Miguel Bagtas, Sebastian Vargas, Jr., Karenina Romualdez, Teresa Lacayanga, Maddie Martinez, Sachie Yu, and Marc Paloma.
