Fill yourselves with propitious entrées highlighting Summer Palace’s Wealth Menu starting off with the renowned braised treasure soup by Chef Tony and a vast assortment of specially prepared Chinese creations such as roasted pecking duck, steamed whole sea bass with minced garlic, baked fresh scallops with homemade tofu in special sauce, minced duck meat on a bed of lettuce, fried la mien noodles with seafood, hot red bean cream with glutinous rice ball and steamed layered cake. Make the feast extra special with the traditional Yee Sang or Yu Shang, a popular practice also known as the ‘Prosperity Toss.’ Yee Sang consists of more than 20 ingredients all chosen for its symbolism and is considered to be a must-have dish for Chinese New Year festivities to attract happiness, wealth and good fortune.
