Prima ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde also joins in on the wave of artists, performers, and other personalities who are contributing to the community in home quarantine with the way she knows best.
The famed prima ballerina will be holding a free 30-minute Online Ballet Fitness class tomorrow, March 26 at 10AM. Aspiring ballerinas from all over the country and beyond can participate via Facebook Live, which will air at the Ballet Manila Facebook page.
Participants will be needing a yoga mat, a chair to be used as a makeshift ballet barre, soft ballet shoes or socks, a face towel, and some drinking water to keep themselves hydrated. Beside this live lesson, you can also learn more about the craft by watching Ballet Minute with Lisa Macuja, which is a series of short clips on social media where Lisa Macuja "breaks down the complex art of classical ballet into small bite size pieces."
