Woodfire Grill Republic was founded on the desire to have a place to enjoy good food with great company. Hence, the reason why Marites Cruz, a seasoned restaurateur, came up with the concept of Woodfire Grill Republic. While the name doesn't literally stand for an all-grilled-food experience, Woodfire Grill Republic stands for a place to kick-back, relax, unwind and enjoy affordable food delights with family, friends and business associates.
Guests who have visited Woodfire Grill Republic have commented that the place has a resort-type feel to it, minus the beach. Well, we can't blame those who think the place is more appropriate in a beach setting since its flooring is adorned with giant leaf-like tiles. The restaurant's main appeal is its open and breezy ambience. It has a bar located at the main entrance, the view deck, the al fresco area and the air-conditioned area for a more private dining experience.
Woodfire Grill Republic offers a wide range of affordable foods, from its best selling longganiza tacos, burong chicharong bulaklak and spicy kilawin to the all-time favourite sisig, sizzling bulalo, and barbecue samplers, to name a few. Woodfire Grill Republic is also known for its rice: aligue rice, tinapa rice, bagoong rice and of course the ever reliable garlic rice. Exotic foods like nilaga, papaitan, kalderetang kambing and other unusual combinations that cater to the drinking palate are also available. Believe it or not, Woodfire Grill Republic also has its monster burger (pure 1lb beef burger) and a host of sandwiches, sausages and milk shakes for the young and not so young at heart. Soon, Woodfire Grill Republic will be selling the popular Belgian dessert cakes of Heavenly Chocolates for dessert.
Guests who come alone or waiting for friends can hang-out at the bar, which is located just at the entrance of the restaurant. For private gatherings, guests can choose to stay inside its air-conditioned room, located at the ground floor. The most popular dining area is the second floor where there are two cabanas that can accommodate six (6) people each. There are also low height chairs and tables on the second floor for smaller group accommodations. On busy nights, the front portion of Woodfire Grill Republic often serve as al fresco dining area. Currently, the restaurant is open from 6pm to 5am in the morning.
