The young Julianne watched her mom Chona in their home kitchen and fueled her to finish a culinary degree from De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (DLS-CSB) School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM), graduating with Cum Laude honors.
She launched the brand’s first online bakeshop in 2011. She competed in the fierce “cupcake war” of 2012, wherein bakers vied to be the best out of the rest, where she earned the trust of loyal clientele. What used to be Julianne’s hobby-turned-sideline became a successful family business.
