For some reason, dads seem to love chocolate, at least the dads I know of. If you have a chocolate-loving dad, one of my favorite bakeries in Manila has a luscious chocolate cake he’ll surely be glad to receive. For Father’s Day, Butternut Bakery is offering a dad-edition Luscious Chocolate Cherry Cake using only the finest cocoa powder to achieve that chocolate-y fudge you can’t get enough of.
If you think it’s not indulgent enough, it is topped with seasonal California cherries and garnished with edible gold foil to make it sparkly. It’s too beautiful to eat but once you slice through the cake, you won’t be able to stop indulging in this decadent creation. The cake is priced at P2,200 only.
