We’ve come to the last month of Summer of Sebastian’s for the year and although we’re pretty sad about it, we’re actually excited because it’s the cheesiest collection yet. And yes, Sebastian’s Ice Cream can’t get any cheesier than this.
It’s apparent that cheese ice cream is a true Filipino original and it’s also proof that we love a good combination of sweet and salty. For their last summer collection for 2021, Sebastian’s Ice Cream took inspiration from the classic sorbetes and made three cheese-based flavors. All flavors are sold at only P405 for a pint.
The first flavor is the Cheesy Cookies and Creme which will make any cheese biscuit-lover excited. This has a cheese ice cream base with chunks of cheese-filled sandwich cookie pieces. The cheese cookies definitely give the ice cream an even cheesier twist! Next is the Cheddar Apple Pie which has a cheddar ice cream base with baked apple pie sorbet ribbon and streusel crunch. A scoop of this feels like a warm hug!
A favorite is the Tres Quesos. This is cheese ice cream grated with Cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Quickmelt cheeses. This is the richest flavor in the collection and is perfect as a filling in some freshly toasted pandesal. They sell pandesal for only P20 for four pieces — something to complete your Pinoy Sorbetes experience.
In line with the cheese collection, they’ve brought back their popular Ube Keso Ice Cream. It has cheesier Cheese Ice Cream swirled in their rich Ube Halaya Ice Cream.
The Keso Collection is now available in-store and for delivery via sebastiansicecream.com.
