If there’s one thing that bonds Filipinos together, it’s definitely anything grilled. And if you miss your favorite Pinoy street food this pandemic, Burnt Bamboo has you covered.
Owners Matthew J Hornsby-Bates and Matthew Kenneth agree that BBQ is a no-fail dish but have not agreed on what makes the perfect BBQ ā marinade, type of meat, or cut. So they made sure to not miss any of the important factors when they conceptualized the restaurant.

Ordering is as easy as ordering from your favorite neighborhood stall. First, select your sticks which range from only P35 to P60 only. Choose from Betamax, Chicken Isaw, Pork Isaw, Isol, Longganisa, and more. Next is choosing the free glaze which you can mix and match on the meats you’ve chosen. The available sauces are their signature sauce, Korean bbq, dirty mayo, chimichurri, hot sauce, or white bbq. You can stop here but can opt to make it a meal and add rice.
Apart from the grilled meats on sticks, Burnt Bamboo has other hot meals like Tocilog, Pares, Lugaw, and Bagsilog. They also sell frozen marinated sticks which you can grill yourself in the comfort of your homes.
Burnt Bamboo is located at City Golf Plaza and Uptown Mall in Taguig. For exclusive offers and updates, like them on Facebook and follow them on Instagram.
