Over a year since Panda Express opened its first branch at SM Megamall, the American-Chinese fast-casual restaurant is going north! Its second branch will open at SM North EDSA this Sunday, February 12, just in time for the celebration of the Lunar New Year.
Panda Express is famous for being the world’s largest American-Chinese dining concept. They’re most famous for their Original Orange Chicken — a wok-tossed crispy chicken in a sweet and tangy sauce — as well as their Broccoli Beef, which has tender beef and fresh broccoli in ginger soy sauce.
The restaurant also offers Eggplant Tofu in a sweet and spicy sauce for those who are on a plant-based diet.
To celebrate the Year of the Metal Ox, Panda Express will be holding many events for customers on opening day. People who line up can win freebies when they pick red envelopes from the interactive display. Panda Express also makes sure that guests get to be festive for the new year by taking their photos by their lantern-festival-themed photo wall.
