Yes, it’s that time of the year!
We may have had an unusual 2020 but Sebastian’s Ice Cream comes through this Valentine’s Day with their annual limited V-day series. I always look forward to this just because the flavors do not fail to surprise me. And you would wish that’s it’ll be a permanent item on their menu!

Available for the whole month of February, the Valentine’s Day series has the same names as the previous years but different flavors, except for one. Ready to indulge?
Below are this year’s special flavors for the month of love:
Seeking for that Matinong Boyfriend (P145/scoop; P435/pint)? Here’s your chance. This year, it has a White Cocoa Ice Cream base with Blueberry Sorbet ribbons. The flavor combination is a bit surprising but it comes together perfectly especially with the almond praline crumble.

Of course, there’s something for the men as well. This year’s Matinong Girlfriend (P145/scoop; P435/pint) is best described as fun and delicious. It has a Nut Butter Ice Cream which uses a variety of nuts ā cashew, walnut, pecan, almond, pili nut, macadamia nut, brazil nut, and hazelnut ā all roasted and blended. They finish it off with ribbons of thick butter caramel and garnish it with Swedish-style candied nuts.

A yearly favorite of mine, Closure (P145/scoop; P435/pint) is for anyone who wants peace. Who doesn’t want that? It is a smooth Noon Chai-infused ice cream where you get notes of cardamom, clove, cinnamon, and star anise. This will definitely make your soul calm and forget about your problems for a minute.

Last but definitely not least, the only Valentine flavor that returns year after year ā Unresolved Issues (P100/scoop; P300/pint) which is a sorbet made from fresh ampalaya mixed with sugar for some sweetness. It is garnished with candied ampalaya to make it more bitter. This one is definitely not for the weak-hearted. Try this with caution!

This year, Sebastian’s Ice Cream has released an Ice Cream Cake for the month of February. The Strawberry Cream Ice Cream Cake (P1,650/9-inch cake) is made with freshly-baked Spiced Cake topped with a double layer of Sweet Ice Cream and Strawberry Sorbet, finished with Buttery Oat Streusel and white chocolate. If you love a good Strawberry Shortcake, you will equally love this.

Which one are you trying first?
