Poblacion is known for its busy streets illuminated by bright neon lights packed with millennials who are always on the lookout for something new. Luckily, there's a new food hub right in the smack of Poblacion which is perfect before and after a good night out.
Located in the corner of Doña Carmen and Jacobo streets, The Pallet can easily be found because of its string lights in its outdoor setup. The Pallet has 9 food stalls catering to every possible food cravings – from Japanese to Filipino and Mexican to Singaporean! Here are a few of our favorites you shouldn't miss:
Uncle Moe's Shawarma
Craving for some Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine? Uncle Moe's who has been serving shawarma for more than ten years is now available in Makati. There's no need to drive further north just to have a taste of their Beef Shawarma (P129) and kebabs!
Ramen Attack
If there's something that made us say wow in our visit, it is definitely Ramen Attack's Tonkotsu Shoyu Black (P396). The broth is packed with umami flavor, the noodles are perfectly cooked and the pork is extremely tender, it almost melts in your mouth. Order the Tantanmen (P348) if you prefer slurping down something creamy and spicy.

Heath Burger
Eating healthy before a night out is made easier at Heath. Would you believe that all their burgers are healthy, organic and have zero trans fat? While some of their dishes are meatless, they use free-range and organic for the dishes with meat. All their burger meals are served with a side of sweet potato fries to make your meal a more filling.
Asian Hawker
If you want to skip on ramen, you can have a taste of Singaporean street food from this stall. Their creamy Laksa has a generous amount toppings – tofu, chicken, egg, fishballs – and is bursting with flavors from the lemongrass and curry. One serving is great for sharing especially if you're planning to order from the other stalls.
Takohub
If you think this ball-shaped Japanese snack is overrated, you have to try this version from Takohub. It's bigger than the usual takoyaki and filled with huge chunks of octopus. Besides the classic, they have three interesting flavors you can choose from – Garlic Nobashi, Kani and Corn, and Honey Bacon and Cheese.
Mang Jose
Just like with any other Filipino dish, you can never go wrong with grilled meats that's glazed with that classic sweet sauce that will bring you back to your childhood. At Mang Jose, you can choose from all your favorite grilled fares – isaw, bulaklak, tenga, balat, liempo, betamax, and so much more.
Antojitos
Head straight to Antojitos for a taste of Mexican fares. From cheesy beef nachos and quesadillas to tacos and burrito bowls, you can make your night out extra exciting with any of their flavorful offerings! A personal favorite is the extremely cheesy Gelacios Quesadilla which has tender beef mechado and three kinds of cheese sandwiched in a soft flour tortilla.
Inum
What's Poblacion without refreshing drinks? Inum is the only stall serving drinks, including classic and unique drinks you can pair with. Order their signature drinks – The Bennii and The Annette – priced at only P250, which is named after the owner and his wife.
