The Story:
Actor David Licauco began Sóbra Comfort Filipino Food with his college friend AC Adriano during the lockdown. It was their vision to bring good Filipino comfort food to our tables at home, hassle-free! And after forging a partnership with Alamat and Agimat corporate chef, Mike Victorioso, the support behind Sóbra was complete and ready to serve.

Specialty:
According to David, they are currently focusing on breakfast comfort food, specifically their version of the Beef Tapa & Corned beef; both of which are seemingly at the top of Pinoy breakfast picks. Besides that, it is also undeniable that Filipinos love to eat these breakfast dishes even after the morning is long done. From this breakfast meal lineup, David, AC, and Chef Mike are continually collaborating to expand their menu of comfort food offerings, planning to roll out dishes for lunchtime, dinnertime, and even merienda.

“We’ve had numerous online meetings and taste tests to craft our food from ingredient selection to the cooking process, even up until the very packaging. Having a clear vision of serving quality food that targets the well-being of people really guided us in every step of the way.” shares David Licauco.
