Situated on the 31st floor, the area boasts of a breathtaking view of the city skyline. Vu's Sky Bar and Lounge is found on the 45th floor of the Marco Polo hotel along Meralco Avenue. Bands perform live music every night to serenade you as you take in the stunning 180-degree view of the Pasig City skyline and enjoy the wide range of food and drink offerings. Not all rooftop bars need to be fancy! Z Hostel on Don Pedro St., Makati has a more urban, laidback vibe where you can enjoy a beer or some cocktails with your friends on a casual night. The space is on the smaller, more intimate side with an industrial feel from the wooden decks and furnishing. From the hostel's rooftop, you can see a view of the Makati and BGC skyline on the turf side, and the Rockwell and Ortigas areas on the wooden deck. Of course, since this is the Poblacion area, you can be sure they know how to throw a great party, too.

Another one of Poblacion's favorite rooftops is Kartel Rooftop Bar, located above Dr. Wine. Take in the 360-degree view of Makati as you sip on affordable wine (served by the glass or the bottle) or their specialty cocktails. Watch the bartenders mix your drinks right in front of you when you sit behind the well-lit bar. They also serve French-inspired "pica-pica" or finger food to go with your drinks. Wine nights will never be the same once you've spent one at Kartel. 
 

Sky High Bar, Ace Hotel and Suites

Sky High Bar on the 21st floor of Ace Hotel and Suites offers what they call the "360-degree view of Metro Manila." The hotel is located in Kapitolyo, Pasig City, and the penthouse overlooks Laguna de Bay, Ortigas, and Bonifacio Global City from above. Sky High Bar has two levels: one more for drinks and lounging, another for dining. They also have live bands and DJs that play every night, so bring your friends and enjoy your next night out on this rooftop!

Roof Deck Bistro started out as a private hangout spot before officially opening in 2011. Now, it's all about relaxing and unwinding from the busy streets of Manila and enjoying some fresh air. This spot is a little different from the others on this list, as Roof Deck Bistro stands at the top of a 4-storey building instead of a sky-high hotel. Still, that doesn't stop regulars from enjoying the view with the classic Filipino bar chow and good drinks.
