Miao Cat Café opened last February, and is Manila's new (and so far, only) furry, happy social environment for all cat lovers — whether you own one, or just love them but do not have the time nor space to own one yourself. Run by cat lovers and owners, this cafe in QC houses many kinds of cats, all of them personal pets of the owners. Cat-themed items decorate the main play area, and different nooks have playgrounds for the cats themselves, like a tree to climb and a hanging bridge for the adventurous kitties.

Ready and excited for your first cat café experience in Manila? Miao Cat Café is open for pet lovers with a door fee (P300/adult, P150/child), inclusive of one drink and one food item (pastries or pasta); the door charge allows you to hang out with the cats, and enjoy your food and drink for 2 hours. The cafe closes its doors in between operating hours for periodic cleanup. Miao Cat Café is open daily from 11am – 1pm, 2pm – 4pm, 5pm – 7pm, and 8pm – 10pm. Reservations are recommended, especially during weekends, as they get full and only limit the main area to a number of guests to avoid overcrowding.

Kitty time at this new cafe also has rules for visitors so that both cats and humans will enjoy the interaction, and not be agitated: no flash photography, no shoes (guests will be provided with slippers), and when the kitties are sleeping, do not disturb (just like humans, they need their peaceful snooze time).
