The BF Homes store popular for their house-made liquid nitrogen gelato and sangers (that's Aussie speak for sandwiches) has now opened their first outlet in Makati.
Outré Gelato & Sangers specializes in sandwiches and liquid nitrogen gelato inspired by the culinary mix of Australia, and so their menu of savory dishes and frozen desserts are kept playful and modern. Its first outlet opened last year in Parañaque, which they followed with the newly-opened branch in Makati.
Sangers at Outré are hefty, with a handful to choose from, such as the Popcorn Shrimp (P240) with shredded kimchi slaw, Bulgogi Cheese Steak (P235), Karaage with Pineapple Salsa (P190), and The Bleu Burger (P240). Salads, Pastas, and Sides are also available.
Their gelato lineup is quite unique and they carry flavors that combine many sorts of interesting components — they've rolled out gelato with vegemite, a flavor with baked pretzel, and even baked lamington. The store carries flavors that are exclusive to a branch, and there's always something new to look forward to when the gelato team is feeling creative.
For the new branch at Circuit Lane, exclusive flavors include Charlotte (chocolate creme brulee and caramelized sugar), Brandy Makisig (P160), a spiced brandy mix with burnt bread, Happy Sally (salted caramel mix and salted caramel syrup), and Kick Me (P150), a combination of coffee mix, disaronno liqueurm and chocolate shavings. Popular flavors at Outré are their Milo Dinosaur (P160) and Queen B, which has a honeycomb mix, hard chocolate shell, and honeycomb crumble.
