It was burgers and sliders galore during their opening week, with their 'pay what you want' promo causing long lines outside the restaurant. Here's what is in store for you at Pound by Todd English, a scrumptious spin-off from the popular burger menu of Todd English Food Hall.

Todd English Food Hall in Manila has become famous for their burger lineup, much so that Foodee Global Concepts (the group responsible for bringing Todd English Food Hall to our shores, with other brands like Tim Ho Wan, Maisen, and Mesa under their belt) decided that these sandwiches should take centerstage in a separate restaurant. After a pop-up last September 2015 at The Red Light to give customers a taste of what's to come, Pound opened their first branch Bonifacio High Street last February 5, 2016.

Burgers and sliders dominate Pound's menu: there's the T.E. Burger (P195, P155/2 pcs slider) for a classic burger of house ground beef patty with tomato, lettuce, crispy onion, mustard relish, and T.E. suace on a toasted homemade brioche bun; T.E. Crispy Chicken Burger (P225, P195/2 pcs slider) comes with a crispy pickled slaw, and cilantro aioli, while Amsterdam Burger (P280) is a beef burger with pastrami, gruyere, sauerkraut, and mustard relish.

Bacon lovers can try the Bacon and Egg Sliders (P200/2 pcs) that uses house-cured bacon and combined with quail egg and apple aioli. Add-ons are available to make your burgers more hefty, and premium add-ons like Roasted bone marrow (P120), Foie Gras Mousse (P200) and Seared Foie Gras (P250) are available for an extra luxurious treat. An epic burger experience can be achieved–at a price; get the Pound Burger (P999) that features both seared foie gras and foie gras mousse.

Other items on the menu that are not in between bread include salads, a wrap, and poutine in assorted flavors. Available sides to pair with your burger include assorted fries, fried pickles, truffle risotto tater tots, and pickled chilis.
