Best Food Forward, the benefit food fair celebrating everything food, is on its 6th year and happens at SM Aura Premier's SMX Convention Center this October 15 to 16, 2016. We tease your tastebuds with 7 of their merchants that'll bring in their best food forward for you!
1. Cheese Scraper

Hot and bubbly cheese, melting and being scraped right front of you — raclette lovers will definitely be smitten by the Cheese Scraper! This traditional Swiss specialty invades BFF with their raclette cheese scraped onto an assortment of veggies, potatoes, cornichons and pickled pearl onions. Quality time with fromage at its best.
Try: Raclette Cheese (P160/half scrape, P299/full scrape) which you can have with additional bacon, pepperoni, antipasto, or crispy mushroom. You can make your own fromage (choose from an assortment of cheeses) or have a Spicy Aglio Olio with raclette.
2. Crackle Chips

This first timer in Best Food Forward is bringing in crispy potato chips decked in unique favors. Drop by their booth to get addicted to their crackly and crisp, grease-free kettle cooked chips that are hand cut and made from scratch (all natural ingredients with zero artificial powders). Guaranteed to make you want to snack all day long.
Try: Potato chips in Himalayan Salt, Salted Egg, and Bicol Crunch flavors (sold in 150g cans for P220/P260)
3. JOY

Joy San Gabriel is first and foremost celebrated for her beautiful wedding cakes, but to those who have experienced her fresh and handmade cheese rolls, she brings even much joy in little bites. Nostalgic and classic, her freshly baked soft and buttery rolls will please the titas of Manila and delight youngsters alike.

4. Mama Empanada

Mama Empanada's original family recipe from 1979 will throw you back to deliciously classic chicken empanadas from childhood. Best enjoyed freshly heated and warm, these golden brown pockets of savory goodness make for a great pasalubong and Christmas giveaway item.

5. Ozawa

Have you ever tried a noritako? Chances are, no — and Ozawa is set to make foodies try out their playful food invention at BFF. It's sushi meets taco, with nuggets of rice wrapped in nori, then wrapped in a crispy taco shell, and topped with an assortment of dressings and meats.
Try: Noritako in flavors like Beef Tenderloin, Pork Tonkatsu, Chicken Karaage, and Pork Teriyaki.
6. Pier 717 Crabmeat

This Cebuano family company primarily exports their quality pasteurized canned alimasag and have expanded their reach locally by supplying restaurants and select stores. They know best how to prepare and serve crabmeat, and so this year they're in BFF to serve ready-to-eat treats and share their knowledge of anything crabmeat!
Try: Ready to eat Crabmeat (fresh and no artificial flavors) in half pound cans, Crab Cakes
7. Wheely's Cafe

Wheely's is a chain of eco-friendly mobile cafés (their carts are bicycle powered and geared with solar panels and air purifiers!) founded in Sweden. The brand is now in the country to bring their take on single origin, organic, fair-trade, specialty coffee. Their two coffee profiles are Work (Wheelys' Indonesian Idolatry beans from Sumatra, Indonesia) and Play (TrueStart Performance Coffee from Antioquia, Colombia).
Try: after choosing the coffee profile you like, pick the style of how it will be served to you — Thai, Latte, Flat White, or Americano
