Costa Coffee crafts the perfect festive season with new holiday drinks and cake

London’s favorite coffee shop does Christmas with a lot of fun, too, serving its holiday drinks in festive Yule-themed cups in Primo, Medio and Massimo sizes. Launch is on November 4.

Costa Coffee gets everyone into the holiday spirit with new handcrafted drinks and sinfully scrumptious cakes made with the warm, indulgent flavors of the season. London’s favorite coffee shop does Christmas with a lot of fun, too, serving its holiday drinks in festive Yule-themed cups in Primo, Medio and Massimo sizes.   Launch is on November 4.

The Hot Salted Caramel Cappuccino (primo P135, medio P145, massimo P155)  teases the taste buds with the oh-so-addictive combination of sweet and salty. Enjoy a warm cup of this while humming along Christmas carols. This holiday specialty drink is also available in ice-blended Frostino (primo P165, medio P175, massimo P195) for that wonderful brrr coffee experience.

Black Forest Chocolate Frostino (primo P165, medio P175, massimo P195), meanwhile, is made with just the right portions of vanilla powder, chocolate sauce, cherry puree, chocolate curls and milk, then  finished off with whipped cream. Have it cold or opt for a comforting cup of Black Forest Hot Chocolate (primo P140, medio P150, massimo P160)

Santa’s favorite pairing – cookies and milk –  gets the Costa Coffee treatment by its skilled baristas with the Chocolate Cookie Frostino (primo P165, medio P175, massimo P195), a sweet, milky and delightfullly cool blend of chocolate cookie, chocolate sauce and chocolate cookie crumb finished with a swirl of whipped cream. The drink is also available in latte version (primo P135, medio P145, massimo P155)  perfect for staying warm on chilly nights.

Christmas means more excuses for some sweet indulgence. Costa Coffee’s Malted Honeycomb Hot Chocolate  (primo P140, medio P150, massimo P160)warms the heart and brings a smile with each sip with its smooth blend of honeycomb syrup, and chocolate powder, drizzled with chocolate sauce on top.

To go with the holiday drinks are four decadent cakes that will have everyone saying Ho! Ho! Ho! in delight. Have a slice of the Butter Beer Cake (P160 per slice),  a moist vanilla cake soaked in butterscotch and layered with salted caramel and whipped butterscotch.  And did we mention that it’s a Harry Potter inspired cake with the snitch on top?  The Dark Chocolate Peppermint (P155 per slice) makes a comeback on the Costa Coffee menu after being well-received last year.  It is a  deceivingly simple but delectable moist chocolate cake covered with peppermint cream cheese frosting. Also worth a try are the  sinful Chocolate Cream Walnut  (P160 per slice) with layers of moist chocolate cake, milk chocolate ganache and whipped cream topped with walnuts ; and Crème Brulee (P155 per order), soft chiffon cake filled with whipped cream, topped with yema frosting and torched with sugar.

Because the most special presents are handcrafted, each Costa Coffee holiday drink is carefully crafted by trained baristas, from the delicate and precise extraction of espresso all the way to the frothing and foaming of the milk. The same love and attention to quality also go into every food offering available at the coffee shop which are always prepared with fresh, quality ingredients.
