The well-loved bar in Poblacion, Polilya, is finally back!
Established in 2017, Polilya in Makati is home to the crowd-favorite Engkanto beer and other signature sips concocted by their mixologists. But due to the pandemic, the bar closed its doors in July of 2020, leaving its patrons wondering when it will be back in business. Now, they finally are, and they have a new space that’s just a few steps away from their former location in Poblacion.
Of course, the revamped bar also came up with some new sips to shake things up for customers who seek a good time. They have the Boozy Barney (P325) made with ube cream, vodka, pandan syrup, and lemon juice; and the Bubuyog Bliss (P260) which mixes vodka with pineapple elixir, wildflower honey, and lemon juice. Other must-try drinks include the Tigrita, Guavavoom, Sandrapolitan, Pre Malone, Honey Yanni, and the Rumba Samba Manga.
Their bar chow also rises to the occasion, serving guests delicious dishes to complete a fun night. Their rich menu includes the lip-smacking Patis-Calamansi Wings (P175) with that tempting glaze of spicy fish sauce and calamansi; the savory Maple-Chipotle Fire-Roasted Cob (P85); the sumptuous Señor Sisig (P325) made with jowls and spicy chorizo; and their Ultimate Nachos (P325) topped with cheese and meat sauce, sour cream, grated cheddar, ‘pico de gallo’ salsa, red beans, avocado, and jalapeño rings.
