2021 is coming to an end, the pandemic restrictions are easing up, and the most festive season is upon us. With this, weāre bringing back our special series where we round up your favorite food staple in your Noche Buena spread. Ready to dig in?
On this list, we give you a rundown of places where you can get Bibingka in Metro Manila. But this is not going to be your ordinary list of bibingka since we already did that last year. This year, we’re taking it up a notch and listing down desserts inspired by the very popular Christmas snack that instantly brings in Holiday cheer. Below, we list down places where you can get this holiday must-have in a unique way.
Triple Bibingcake by Astoria Plaza
What a beauty this bibingcake looks! It is a combination of Astoria’s Bibingka Traditional, Ube, and Dulce de Leche that’s overloaded with salted eggs, ube halaya, and leche flan bits. And just when you thought it’s already overflowing with toppings, they add more with grated cheese, macapuno, and desiccated coconut. It is priced at P1,100.

Suman Latik Bibingka by Bibingka Manila
Combining two Filipino favorites into one, Bibingka Manila’s newest flavor has soft and buttery salted egg bibingka with chewy suman filling and lusciously sweet latik sauce with toasted coconut curds and queso de bola toppings. It is available in a box of 6 for P450, box of 9 for P675, and a Holiday Premium Box of 15 pieces for P1,300.

Queso Cakes by Bibingkinitan
One of my go-to stores for bibingka, Bibingkinitan has stepped up their bibingka game with a line of queso cakes. For the holidays, they’ve created a twist on the classic bibingka with three of their new offerings ā Bibingka Butter Yema Cake, Bibingka Cheesecake with Salted Egg, and Keso de Bola, and Bibingka Cheesecake with Brown Butter Muscovado. Each cheesecake is priced from P350 to P450.
Order via bibingkinitan.com, GrabFood, and available in selected Metro Manila branches.
Bibingka Donut by Dot Coffee
Dot Coffee hopped will instantly bring you the holidays with its Holiday Donut special. The Bibingka Donut has their housemade fried donuts filled with coconut buttercream, desiccated coconut, topped with salted egg, and some torched cheese. One piece is priced at P60 and the Holiday Donut Sampler is priced at P220.
