Philippine lifestyle brand Bench dives into the food scene, partnering with FooDee Global Concepts to present Bench Cafe, their very first cafe and one that deliciously celebrates modern Filipino flavors from coffee to cocktails, merienda to full meals.

FooDee, the group responsible for bringing to the metro different food brands (like Tim Ho Wan, Todd English Food Hall, Pound by Todd English, FOO’D by David Oldani, and Llaollao), has Chef Carlo Miguel as its Corportate Executive Chef and for Bench Cafe, he has elevated some of the most well-loved Filipino merienda, ulam, and sweets into creative dishes that use modern techniques while retaining familiar flavors that always comfort the belly. A meal highlight here is the Bench/To, the cafe's lineup of bento-style set meals which mix and match different viands of meats and vegetables and rice (you can opt to upgrade your starch to garlic rice, dilis rice, bagoong rice, or talangka rice).

To go with every dish on the menu, Bench Cafe tapped 'liquid chef' Kalel Ervin Demetrio to concoct Filipino-forward liquid provisions to refresh and revive the guests all day. Expect fun coffee and cocktail creations to go along with your food when Bench Cafe officially opens to the public on Thursday, January 25, at the second level of the Bench flagship store in Bonifacio High Street, BGC.
