And we really can’t blame them for it. The Korean fermented dish goes with almost anything — from meat and plain rice to ramen and even in sandwiches — and has a lot of health benefits, including probiotics and fiber to make improve digestion.

Whether you’re throwing a KBBQ party at home or just want to make kimchi a staple on the dining table, here are some places in the metro where you can order freshly-made kimchi.

One of the popular Korean groceries in the metro, Assi Fresh Plaza also carries a variety of kimchi. They have freshly-made napa kimchi, as well as a variety of others that are pre-packaged and shipped from Korea.
