Holiday Get-Togethers Made Special at Salvatore Cuomo & Bar

‘Tis the time to gather family, friends, colleagues and clients over a fine meal that is shared together with stories of then and now. This, of course, has to be done at a special place so that each social or corporate function and intimate get-together becomes more memorable.

Salvatore Cuomo & Bar, the restaurant named after the celebrity chef and restaurateur and media personality who is known as the pioneer of Neapolitan pizza in Japan, has a branch at Uptown Parade, BGC that offers authentic Italian cuisine in an elegant and modern setting for the discerning set. As such, it features premium casual dining at a convenient location within the city that is an ideal place to celebrate Christmas.

It has a private room that can be a venue for intimate Holiday lunches or dinners for up to  12 pax and a larger function room for 30 pax. These two rooms can be combined to fit a maximum of 40. There is also an option to book the whole restaurant for larger groups of up to 170 guests, including outdoor seating.

As with its main restaurant in Japan, the menu at the BGC branch is carefully crafted to reflect the chef’s attention to detail and specification for using only the freshest and best ingredients.

Chef Salvatore loves creating dishes from what he sees from the local as well international markets.  That is why he can offer off menu items, whatever the season.  This is a creative process that he loves to immerse himself in, making changes here and there for variety and so that traditional Italian dishes are refreshed from time to time.   Known for his hands-on approach to managing his restaurants, Chef Salvatore’s continuous quest for freshness takes him to Manila’s wet markets to personally choose seafood.  He also brings in high quality ingredients like Wagyu  from Japan, seafood from Europe and cheeses and cured meats from Italy.
