This new Megamall cafe brings the Filipino classics and twists from everyone's favorite crispy sisig and watermelon sinigang purveyor Manam and combines it with freshly baked pastries, brunch fare, hearty mains, and desserts!
It makes perfect sense for The Moment Group to finally set up an all-day type of menu for their Filipino restaurant brand: they serve up great modern and traditional fare (a balance of both), and also recently started to offer early morning crave-worthy grub, from silogs to bowls of ube champorado. Now that the new Manam Cafe is armed with special exclusives such as kakanin, ensaymada, and sticky rolls, their splendid lineup of sweets is quickly catching up with their savory offerings.
What to expect at this cafe rendition of your favorite Filipino restaurant? Lots of merienda to nibble on, both savory and sweet, a handful of Manam's top hits and new exclusive main courses, and hot drinks to pair with your modern Filipino desserts. All-day breakfast fare: wake up to delicious almusal like House-made Tapsilog, (Classic/Spicy & Sweet – P265), Super Arroz Caldo (P155), Sugar-glazed Corned Beef Belly Silog (295), and Ube Champorado (155).
New must-try mains for lunch or dinner: Manam cafe's Crispy Beef Tadyang (P355/S, P665/M, P1,130/L) is an unctuous meaty dish perfectly paired with garlic rice and a vinegar dipping sauce, while the new Shrimp Bicol Express (P185/S, P345/M, P615/L) is a creamy seafood version of the pork dish laced with just enough spice.
Ensaymada sandwiches: because these Christmas treats deserve to be on the menu all year round, just like Manam's bibingka! These homemade ensaymadas are best while warm and fresh off the oven, and you have the option to order the Three Cheese Ensaymada ‘Wich (P200) and Chorizo Ensaymada ‘Wich (P320) with a topping of shaved raclette! You can never have too much cheese, so we say treat yourself and go for it.
Make room for desserts: Sweets exclusive to Manam Cafe include Sticky Rolls (P115 each) in Ube and Tsokolate flavors, a Buko Pie (P235) served with a sweet coconut sauce, Choco-Nut Tart (P235), and a very lipsmacking Calamansi Tart (P220) unafraid to deliver a tangy zing of the fruit — a must try if you love citrus!
