When in Boracay, one of the best things to do - aside from lazing by the beach and/or the pool - is to explore all the good food that it has to offer. Forget the beach body you've been trying to maintain for months and treat yourself with some of the best dishes you could have! And if you're looking for some of the best pizza and pasta in the island, there's no other place to go than Movenpick Boracay's Brezza.
Brezza takes pride, of course, in its pizza, and how fast they cook it. And it's all thanks to The Beast, a wood-fired oven from Napoli, Italy, whose temperature could go so high that it could cook pizzas within a minute! Make sure to grab the spot by the counter, so not only will you be able to see how Chef Francesco Leone prepare your pizza, but you also get to time the whole cooking process by yourself.
Of all the different kinds of pizza they have on the menu, it's their Quattro Formaggi which we liked best. Chef Francesco himself prepared it for us while we watched him flatten the dough and generously put all the toppings before placing it in the oven. A minute and a couple of turns later, he gets it out to reveal a perfectly cooked pizza which would make any cheese-lover's mouth water.
The result is a pizza that's both soft and extremely cheesy. It's recommended that you eat it while it's still hot and fresh from the oven, so you get to really enjoy the flavors of all four cheeses!
Looking for something else to have? Their Mushroom Risotto and Classic Carbonara are also some of Brezza's other must-try dishes for those who can't live without rice or pasta (maybe even both). Their servings are also good for sharing, so you can always have it with friends and still feel stuffed afterwards!
