Christmas 2017: Holiday-Themed Cakes To Complete Your Christmas Table

posted on

With Christmas only a few weeks away now (or maybe days, by the time you read this), you've probably already started thinking all the dishes and treats you'll be serving for Noche Buena. There's the Filipino staples: lechon, Christmas hams, and queso de bola; Christmas platters for those who want a hassle-free meal; and holiday-themed desserts to end a festive dinner.

Whether you'll have it as gifts to your loved ones (it's the season of giving, after all!) or as a centerpiece to your Noche Buena spread, we're giving you 8 places in the metro where you can get and order your holiday desserts!

1. Flour Pot's Rum Butter Cake

Rhea Castro-Sycip's Rum Butter Cake took a year to develop, so it's only right to say that it's perfect and everything we want from a butter cake. Made with free range eggs and artisan butter which they source from Bukidnon, this ring-shaped treat is also soaked in local and premium small batch rum. You can have it in two flavors: Plain Original and Nut Crumble, and in two sizes (7-inch and 9-inch bundt pan).

Oh, and it's also served in a nice, pine-wood box, making it the perfect gift for that friend of yours with a sweet tooth!

How to order: Email Chef Rhea via her email (hello.flourpot@gmail.com), call her at 09177892352, or visit her social media accounts.
