Caution Hot! Spicy Noodle House has been a staple in the famed Maginhawa area for its comforting bowl of noodles. Mainly because it's packed with flavor, affordable and the restaurant allows you to customize your own bowl. On a regular visit, you can choose from three broths: Schezuan which is their ultimate best-seller, Asam Laksa which has a sour and spicy flavor and the Classic pork broth if you want something basic and would want to skip on the heat.
Given that you can customize your bowl to your liking, each visit will be different from the last one. Unless, of course, you already have a favorite and you know which to order! From the noodles to the broth and your choice of meat to the level of burn (1st degree to ultimate burn), everything can be customized. At Caution Hot, they make sure you're already thinking of your next visit as soon as you step into the restaurant and slurp on your first bowl.
If you enjoy the classic hot and sour soup that's usually served in Chinese restaurants, you would definitely love their new bowl of noodles that's exclusively available only on Wednesdays.
The Hot & Sour is their newest spicy broth which actually starts at second degree burn. It is a serving of their best-selling egg noodles in a Hong Kong-style Hot & Sour broth topped with bamboo shoots, woodear and shitake mushrooms, bokchoy and an egg, finished off with scallions. The price of one bowl varies on the toppings you would like to add: All-Veggie (P175), Pork (P185), Beef (P205) or Seafood (P220).
