Happening on the 28th and 29th of October is a magical Harry Potter themed feast by Plato PH. Get your house robes and wands ready as Pineapple Lab transforms into the Great Hall for two nights only!

From the same people who brought Game of Thrones and Star Wars to your dining tables come Harry Potter and the Great Hogwarts Halloween! This special two-nights-only dinner is happening on the 28th and 29th of October at Pineapple Lab in Makati, so get your house robes and wands at the ready for the magical feast that awaits you!

Plato PH Harry Potter

Plato PH partnered up with Privatus Dining, Portkey Events, and Pineapple Lab to make every Potterhead's dream of dining at the Great Hall come true just in time for Halloween (We promise there will be no trolls in the dungeon this time!). Inspired by the books and the films, Chef AJ Reyes did all the magic of creating dishes that would take every aspiring witch and wizard to the Wizarding World. Potions Master Mark Marquez will also be in attendance to concoct and teach guests how they could create their own potions.

Here are some of the Harry Potter-inspired dishes that you can try for yourself during the two-day event:

Breadstick Wands

While waiting for the feast to begin, indulge yourselves with these Breadstick Wands. Because it reminds you so much of Hermione's wand, you're probably going to wand to shove it in your bag or practice the "swish and flick" and try to make things levitate, but we suggest you have a taste of it because it's just as good as it looks.

Kreacher's Onion Soup

Remember the herb Neville Longbottom gave Harry Potter to survive one of the tasks at the Triwizard Tournament? Yep, it's called Gillyweed, and you can finally try it during the event! The Gillyweed Salad is made of squid, pickled seaweed, and sesame dressing.

Named after the Black family's house elf, Kreacher's Onion Soup is the signature soup for Sirius and you get to try it! The soup is made of slow-cooked onion with beef broth and wine, topped with bread and melted cheese. It's a perfect starter to a good meal!

Plato PH Roast Pig
Hogwart's Roast Suckling Pig

We kid you not, the Chocolate Frog Legs are made of real frog legs! It's battered, deep-fried, and tossed in chili chocolate sauce with sea salt. If you still haven't tried frogs, this might be a good dish to start with! Molly's Meat Pie, on the other hand, is a dish that would give you a taste of home – or the Weasley household. It's named after Molly Weasley, and is basically ground Wagyu and shrank, slow-cooked with herbs and spices. It's served on a cast iron with whole grain mustard.

Since a feast is never complete without the lechon, they're serving to you Hogwarts' version of it – Hogwart's Roast Suckling Pig. Slow-cooked to make it as crispy as it could be, it's also served with juniper berry sauce.

If you've always imagined what the potions and drinks mentioned in the books taste like, now's the time to find out. Their versions of Skelegro and Butterbeer are good and alcoholic, and are just two of the many potions by Mark Marquez will be concocting for you to try out! The fun part? He's also going to be teaching you how to make them!

Aside from the mixology class, guests also get to learn the skills that are taught to every witch and wizard. From reading tea leaves and learning charms to defending yourself in duels and against the Dark Arts, you're definitely going to go out of the halls feeling like someone who has defeated You-Know-Who!

Excited to live out your childhood dream? Fees for the event range from P600 to P4000, depending on the events that you wish to be a part of. The Mixology class, however, is priced at P2000 and is limited to the first 20 students who will sign up so you better have all your Galleons withdrawn from Gringotts and enroll as early as you can!
