Unwind with Village Tavern's new cocktails

The restaurant’s tavern setting – with its quilted seats, the warm glow from the chandeliers and wood-lined bar – makes it a great place to enjoy a cold drink after a long day. Its new concoctions are all original Village Tavern recipes, something to keep in mind when you’re in a working dinner with clients and colleagues.

Included in the new cocktail list are the refreshing Minted Mule, a brew of fresh mint leaves, hints of honey, vodka and ginger beer; Painkiller Tiki, perfect for people having a rough day with its combination of fresh mango puree, pineapple and Coco Real juice with  a hint of dark rum; and Triple Berry Cosmo, a tasty cocktail made of blueberry juice, cranberry and vodka.  A glass costs P145 while Bistro cardholders may have any of the cocktails at P95/glass until 7p.m.

New favorites such as Texan riblets, nachos,  Habana Mexican-style grilled corn  and chorizo and goat cheese rolls

Try its bar plates of Fresh Oysters, Tavern Sampler loaded with Texan riblets, Chorizo and goat cheese rolls, Habana Mexican-style grilled corn and Tavern nachos, and the Appetizer Sampler that has all the delicious things to complement its cocktails and alcoholic beverages: sesame teriyaki chicken wings, prawn and mango quesadilla, homemade jalapeno poppers and French fries.

The Old Fashioned Southern Eats is another new item on the menu and includes the following house favorites: 4pcs. Monterey Chicken, Full Texan Ribs, 2pcs. Crispy Chicken Tacos, and Habana Mexican-Style Grilled Corn.  This generous serving is good for sharing so  the P1,495 price  tag for Bistro cardholders is well worth it.
