The hole in the wall in Makati known for their authentic modern Italian dishes and fresh pastas opens its second branch in BGC.

Va Bene Pasta Deli has Italian Chef Massimo at its helm, and he promises to take you to the streets of Italy with their authentic renditions of Italian favorites. The Pizza Al Taglio (square pizza), he relates, is a typical casual snack among the locals there. Other favorites from the Makati branch are also available in the newest outlet, such as the Braised Veal Cheeks (P890), an entree that's slow cooked for 12 hours, served with creamy mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans, and chicken egg raviolo. Another best seller is the Chicken Milanese (P590) with buffalo mozzarella, roasted potatoes, satuteed vegeratbles and arugula salad. They have also updated their menu to include paninis and ciabattas, and a menu dei bambini (kids' menu). Other must-try dishes at their new branch are the bruschettas (Tomato Bruschetta - P360, Mushroom Brusschetta - P380) .

Pasta is the pride of this Italian restaurant, as Va Bene Pasta Deli's claim to fame is their freshly made, hand rolled pastas. The Rolled Spinach Canelloni (P390) is highly recommended: experience the fresh pasta difference in this dish, with spinach, ham, tomatoes and cheeses that melts in your mouth. Other pastas offered include stuffed pastas like ravioli, tortellini, tortelloni; linguine, tagliolini, tagliatelle, pappardelle. They also offer potato gnocchi, risotto, and baked cannelloni.

Va Bene also sells pre-made, dried pastas for takeaway, so that you can cook your own pasta at home. They even have some suggested recipes on how to cook the different types of pastas, and which sauces best complement them.

Visit Va Bene Pasta Deli's newest branch at the third floor (cinema level) of Central Square Building, Bonifacio High Street, 5th Avenue corner 30th Street, BGC.
