Tucked at a corner of Rockwell Center is a new place to start your day with brunch and coffee, or wind down the evening with cocktails and wine over dinner.
Opened over the weekend and currently on soft opening, Refinery is a promising new food concept offering day to night sips and eats with their breakfast fare, comfort food, LaMill coffee, Lagarde wines, and craft cocktails.
Their Breakfast Menu (available 7am to 10:30am) showcases several toast items served with scrambled egg and a side salad, like Smoked Bacon and Toast (P210) and Caviar and Toast (P160). Hungry for a heftier morning meal? Order their Bigger Breakfast (P350), which has the Refinery salad, maple sausage patty, smoked bacon, espresso baked beans, scrambled eggs, and ciabatta toast. All-day brunch items on the menu include egg dishes like Salmon Benedict (P320) and Shirred Truffled Eggs with Toast (P288). Pasta options include the Hangover Pasta (P260) which has smoked bacon, asparagus, and linguini mixed in with rendered smoked bacon fat and parmesan sauce. For those looking for more spice and heat, order their Angry Pasta (P190), an olive oil based linguini dish with pieces of spiced maple sausage, bacon, portobello mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes.
Refinery's grilled cheese sandwiches are quickly gaining popularity. You have three to choose from, and all are served with slow cooked tomato soup and side salad: Grilled Cheese with Bacon (P320), Tomato and Pesto (P280), and Honey and Basil (P280).
To quench your thirst, Refinery's list of coffees, teas, wine and cocktails will keep your palates curious for more. Coffee lovers wanting variety in every sip will want to try out their espresso beverages like Orange Infused Cappuccino (P160, 8oz), Creme Brulee (P175, 8oz), and the Honey Latte (P140, 8oz). The restaurant also carries a selection of LaMill coffee and tea, different flavors of Organic loose sachet hot teas (P150/pot, 360ml), specialty drinks infused with tea, wine and cocktails.
