Malcolm's Deli

Malcolm's Deli is popular in the metro for having juicy, 100% Wagyu beef burgers. The delis should not be confused with Malcolm’s, a fine dining restaurant handled by the same group. It's a totally different dining experience.

To start off the Malcolm’s Deli experience, I first had the best selling Malcolm’s Bacon Cheeseburger (P430), which is a beautiful Wagyu beef patty graced with the presence of lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and bacon. I am not much of a burger person, but the Malcolm’s Bacon Cheeseburger is certainly one of the best burgers I have had.

If you want something simpler you may opt for the Malcolm’s Classic (P400) which is just lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and dill pickle. If you crave something more intense, you may have the Malcolm’s Blue Cheese (P420) which has blue cheese, mayonnaise, lettuce tomato and onion. Each burger comes with a house salad and french fries. If all the beefy goodness makes you guilty, you can always go for the ‘healthy option’ and ask for a wheat bun.

Now, the steak! They have only the best Kitayama Wagyu steaks served with either mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables. You can choose from Rib Eye (P275 per 50 grams), Porterhouse (P250 per 50 grams), and Striploin (P250 per 50 grams). At Malcolm’s, they really know their meat, and that is why I enjoy having their steaks. Perfectly seasoned and cooked the way you like it.

Their burgers and steaks are usually cooked medium well, but you may always tell them to cook it the way you want it. Also, make sure to check out their wine selection. They have some pretty good wine to match your meal.

The latest addition to their repertoire is the Breakfast Menu. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast. I can have breakfast food anytime of the day, that's how much I love it. And my favorite breakfast? Pancakes! I must say Malcolm Deli's Buttermilk Pancakes are pretty good. The Malcolm’s Stack (P280) is three amazing hotcakes with butter and maple syrup. These fluffy pancakes are a great breakfast choice if you’ve got a long day ahead.

One of their most sought after breakfast dishes is the Wagyu Marinated Beef Tapa (P300) served with two eggs cooked just the way you want it, country potatoes, and a choice of toast (whole wheat or white) and jam, or rice (plain or garlic). They also have healthy breakfast food such as a Fruit Platter (P300) and Steel Cut Oats with muscovado sugar and milk (P150).
