About

One of the few concept bars in the Philippines, Molokai is also one of the first Hawaiian-themed resto-bars in the metro. Its unique name was borrowed from an unspoiled island in Hawaii, where you could see the natural beauty of its deserted beaches and rain forests. Like its namesake, Molokai bar and restaurant gives you the feel of relaxing by the beach and being one with nature.

Situated in the heart of Alabang, Molokai makes you think that you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the city with its al fresco setting in the Greens and Grills area of Festival Mall. Its garden and beach inspired interior is complete with cabanas of different sizes and a cluster of acacia trees. Combine these with a very casual and homey décor, and even a surfboard to boot, is enough to make everybody feel welcome. And although the place is located in the mall, it doesn’t make you feel like you’re inside one, but it gives you the security of being in one.

Opened last February 2007, Molokai has been serving up local, Hawaiian and Asian fusion dishes to young and hip crowds, especially office people from the south area. Aside from its tasty cuisine, Molokai’s other attraction is its special events like rock concerts, reggae shows, and the best DJ acts in the metro. The younger crowds especially enjoy listening to Molokai's mix of hip-hop sounds, electronica beats and alternative music. The atmosphere in this resto-bar makes it very comfortable to drink the night away and stay until early morning. It's a place where you can dine with your family, hang out with friends, and just relax and unwind.
