About the Event

The BS Clothing Technology Class of 2020 from the College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines Diliman celebrates the 43rd year of the program by showcasing their skills and talents in creative fashion design and garment construction that they have honed throughout the years.

The Bachelor of Science in Clothing Technology has produced many notable leaders in the field of Clothing and Textile in design, research, production and management throughout the years of its existence. It has been a breeding ground for successful professionals such as Jojie Lloren, Veluz Reyes, Renan Pacson, and Celia Elumba (the Director of PTRI).

The annual Graduation Fashion Show has become a tradition for the graduating class of the BS Clothing Technology Program. This year, the UP Association of Clothing Technology Students (UP ACTS) will organize the event entitled “HULMA” on January 2020.

HULMA, translated in English as “mold,” represents the narratives of ten individuals through design and their growth and development in the program. It exhibits their distinct points-of-view as future clothing technologists and as UP students.
