About the Event

Celebrate the holidays in style while still flaunting your unique combination of power and femininity by scoring glam-meets-utilitarian pieces at the #VanicxWearsYoya Shopping Party.

YOYA

Organized by the Batch 2000 (the batch is named Vanicx) of the Immaculate Conception Academy, the three-day shopping party features creations from YOYA, a homegrown fashion label by Canada-based designer and ICA alumna Yoya Gueco. YOYA is a ready to wear womenswear brand designed for the independent-minded women who effortlessly stand out from the rest without being governed by the latest trends.

The trunk show will see YOYA unveil its first ever holiday collection, which underscores the essence of looking festive without being flamboyant. Each piece that will be produced in limited quantities is characterized by deep and bold colors, angular lines and a playful vibe combined with minimalist bent -- the perfect outfits for women on the lookout for holiday-ready looks in quiet elegance.

According to designer Yoya Gueco, “Each piece in our holiday collection is so versatile and can withstand seasons and occasions. And our pieces are always designed to support and enable the modern woman’s many various needs, lifestyles and moods.”

While the pieces are perfect for each party you have been invited to this season, they are all designed to be mixed and matched and to be worn even after the holidays, making each piece a worthwhile investment.

Practical yet flattering finds perfect for the holidays, as well as everyday pieces, will be showcased from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1,  10 am to 6 pm at the Casa Bella Headquarters, 8 Jupiter St., Bel-Air, Makati. The show will also be opened on Nov. 30, 3 pm with a cocktail party to be held at the flagship showroom of the luxury European furniture and wardrobe systems distributor.

The trunk show is among the efforts by ICA Batch 2000 (Vanicx) in line with their homecoming celebration, 25 years after graduating from ICA. Aside from hosting the festivities, the class seeks to give back to their alma mater.

Proceeds from the sales will go to the ICA Batch 2000 (Vanicx) fund, which will be used for the ICA Alumni Association initiatives such as the ICA Scholarship Foundation, teacher assistance, and medical missions.
