About the Event
Passion Burning: The Goddesses Year 10 is the much-awaited anniversary concert marking the 10th year of Manila’s premiere bellydance company, The Goddesses of Bellydance. The event will showcase the many styles and nuances of bellydance performed by Jill Ngo and The Goddesses of Bellydance together with the country’s top bellydance performers and guests Polynesia and ACN Move.
Currently the most popular professional troupe in the country today; the group, led by the Philippines' most prolific bellydance teacher and performer, Jill Ngo (I Can Do That mentor), has appeared on numerous TV shows and have performed in Korea and Bali, Indonesia winning 4th and 1st place respectively in the Professional Troupe Categories! This 2019 they were also qualifiers on ABS-CBN’s World of Dance.
Watch the Goddesses and their special guests perform on November 23, 2019; 7:00pm at Ateneo de Manila University’s Henry Lee Irwin Theater. Passion Burning promises to reveal the true passion and elegance of oriental dance and its many styles and influences.
