Have you ever wanted to write it like your favorite essayists and nonfiction authors? Then this is the course for you! Creative Nonfiction: How to Write About Real Life With Style is all about equipping the writer with the right techniques, inspirations and instructions to take on both shortform and longform nonfiction projects. Do you want to write a short essay? How about a full-length memoir? Remember, it is often said that real life is stranger than fiction; this workshop will show you why.

This course is perfect for everyone with a literary nonfiction dream and detail. At the end of this course, you will have a plan as well as a first example of what exactly it is you want to do. This is a workshop that reminds why writing it fulfilling. It's inclusive but demanding. Everyone can write, but not everyone can write truly well. It's more than talent—it takes work and drive.

Let our featured speaker, Ruel S. De Vera, guide you through your writing journey. He is the award-winning author of 15 books and has been teaching nonfiction and journalism classes for over two decades.

The workshop will be hosted by Writer’s Block Philippines whose founders Ana P. Santos and Nikka Sarthou-Lainez have been conducting writing workshops for nearly a decade empowering writers, communicators, and creative entrepreneurs.

“Creative NonFiction: How to Write About Real Life with Style” will be on June 8, 2019, from 1pm to 6pm at Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street. The course fee is P2,000 and participants should be at least 16 years old.
