About the Event
The Los Compadres del Bigote (LCDB) is a musical comic duo composed of John Philip Bautista and Itchie Boy Montilla. Wearing false moustaches as part of their act, they woo their audience with beautiful OPM covers and original compositions, and tickle them with humorous antics a la Dolphy, Panchito and Babalu. Both John Philip and Itchie Boy have been part of the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers.
This April 6, join the LCDB for a night of music and laughter as they perform songs of Rey Valera, Side A, Apo Hiking Society, and many others. Be surprised with their funny improv acts which will surely make you chuckle and laugh out loud.
The Los Compadres del Bigote will be accompanied by the LCDB band composed of James Gazmin on lead guitar, Jem Talaroc on drums, Martin Racza on bass guitar, Charles Lyndon Perez on keyboards, and Ian Aguila on percussion. Singing back-up vocals are Tomas Umberto Jr. Virtucio, Jackielyn Sentinerial, and Jen Tolentino. All three of them have also been part of the Philippine Madrigal Singers.
