About the Event
The Multiple Intelligence International School (MIIS) is set to host the 2nd MIIS Fencing Invitational Cup 2018, to be held on August 25-26, 2018, at the Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City. Helmed by Philippine Head Coach and MIIS Fencing Club Coach Amatov Canlas, the tournament aims to support the development of Philippine Fencing through a competitive event wherein local and international fencers vie to win the trophy.
This is the second time that MIIS is hosting the event, having last August 26-27, 2017. At the time, fencers from different countries also participated in the tournament.
The 2nd MIIS Fencing Invitational Cup 2018 will feature top fencers competing in 25 individual and team events in epee, foil, and sabre. The first day will be dedicated to individual events, while day 2 is dedicated to team events.
This is the first time that the MIIS Fencing Invitational Cup will be held in the state-of-the-art facilities of Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City. Located along EDSA South Triangle in the heart of the Metro Manila, the Victoria Sports Tower boast a four-floor sports center with a wider range of facilities for health enthusiasts and health buffs.
