About the Event
A photo exhibit showcasing Dar's recent Cyanotype works. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that dates back from 1842, and was an instrumental
for architects and engineers in producing blueprints.
She creatively applies this process to make abstract photographs without the use or aid of a camera, and are easily identified with their distinct color that’s often described as “Prussian Blue”. While these photographs seemingly convey concrete thoughts and concepts, Dar prefers to leave their interpretation and meaning to the viewer’s discretion.
