Silent Sky

Repertory Philippines presents the critically-acclaimed play by Lauren Gunderson Silent Sky.

Silent Sky is a play about an astronomer named Henrietta Swan Leavitt who – along with her team of of women – made discoveries that shaped modern astronomies. It follows Henrietta and her life in a man's world. This play is to be directed by Joy Virata.

Pasinaya 2019: Open House Festival
February 1 to 3 (Cultural Center of the Philippines)

The largest multi-arts festival celebrates its 15th edition by expanding to three (3) days of workshops, performances, exhibits, street events, and museum tours. More than 3,000 artists participate from music, theater, dance, spoken word, and visual arts.

Themed Karapatan, Kalayaan, Kultura, audiences will get to participate in workshops, exhibits and film screenings at the CCP and other partner locations. Attended by more than 80,000 audiences, the Pasinaya Open House Festival transforms the venues of the CCP into the most creative place in the country for three days. In partnership with the Museum Foundation, shuttle vans are provided to enable audiences to visit participating museums and galleries in Pasay and Manila.

13th Spring Film Festival: Opening a New Lunar Cycle Through Film
until February 5 (Shangri-La Plaza)

Dragon dances, fashion shows, Chinese painting workshops, musical events, and lots of Chinese movies.

These are just some of the activities that await guests of the 13th Spring Film Festival, to be held in the Shangri-La Plaza from January 30 to February 5, 2019.

Organized by the Ateneo Ricardo Leong Center for Chinese Studies and Ateneo Celadon, the official Chinese-Filipino organization of the Ateneo de Manila University, together with Shangri-La Plaza, Red Carpet, and Credit Suisse, with the participation of the Film Development Council of the Philippines and Chinoy TV, the festival welcomes the Year of the Pig through various events and Chinese films throughout the week.

BLACKPINK 2019 World Tour: BLACKPINK In Your Area Manila
February 2 (Mall of Asia Arena)

Korean girl group, BLACKPINK will finally be performing for the first time in Manila next year, February 2, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena!

BLACKPINK, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, is a South Korean girl group who debuted under YG Entertainment back in 2016. The group has since released 2 extended plays, their most recent one being "Square Up", led by the single "Ddu Du Ddu Du". 

Tickets, ranging from P2650 to P19750, will go on Globe Pre-Sale on December 5, while public selling will start on December 6 via SM Tickets.

Eto na! Musikal nAPO! is a musical comedy. It promises its audiences wholesome entertainment with twitches of rom-com and nostalgia, using the music of one of the country’s premiere singing groups, the APO HIKING SOCIETY.
