About the Event
CREATE Philippines is an annual event geared towards empowering the local creative industry for global competitiveness.
Launched last October 2017, CREATE Philippines is the Philippine government’s trade platform for continued learning, knowledge exchange, and business and network creation for the local creative industries. It aims to make the Philippines an active voice in the global discourse on the creative economy and a top-of-mind destination in the Asia-Pacific for creative content and services. CREATE Philippines features the following sectors: Advertising Content and Production, Communication Design, Music and Performing Arts, Film & Animation, Digital Games & Apps, among others.
This year, the 2nd edition of CREATE Philippines will focus on COMMUNICATION DESIGN – a multidisciplinary practice that shapes ideas and information into clear and better messaging delivered through various media.
In partnership with the Communication Design Association of the Philippines (CDAP, www.cdap.com.ph), CREATE Philippines 2018 will feature Design Masterclass sessions, portfolio exhibitions, and networking events for industry institutions, agencies, freelancers, emerging talent, and Communication Design students.
