“Hetero-” begins the word ‘Heterogeneity’, the state of having varying interests.
Young artists from the Kalayaan College’s Painting V Class present an exhibit of artworks varying in content and form.
Eclectic and varied are the works of each artist, a medley of different subjects under one roof, yet they are part of the same collection. Like in chemistry, a heterogenous mixture is not uniform in composition, but still, they somehow work together to complete a whole. The works–consisting of paintings, sculptures, and a performance, are the result of each artist’s exploration of a chosen concept. “Hetero” is the result of individual concerns pursued through individual paths.
The show opens at the Sining Kamalig Art Gallery on May 1, 2018, at 5pm, and will run until May 21, 2018. Sining Kamalig is located at the Second Floor of the Ali Mall in Cubao, Quezon City.
