SuperCamp, the life skills and academic program based in the United States, is expanding to the Philippines this June 2018. To celebrate the launch and introduce Filipino parents to the SuperCamp program, SuperCamp Philippines organizer Lara Jimenez announced today that there will be a parenting workshop on December 9, 2017, at the premiere leisure eco-resort Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club in Morong, Bataan.
Founded by educator Bobbi DePorter in 1982 to teach students important life skills, SuperCamp has since grown to a widely recognized program that has affected the lives of 65,000 graduates in 85 countries. Combining cutting-edge academic learning techniques with life lessons from the world's greatest achievers, the SuperCamp program is an incorporation of powerful academic practices like speed reading, creative writing, critical thinking and effective note-taking, and important life skills in the areas of communication, relationship-building, leadership, personal responsibility, and goal-setting, among others.
SuperCamp is proud to introduce the first in a series of workshops, entitled Parenting for Success: How to Encourage Your Child to Be Their Best. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Cheyenne Foster, a San Diego-based lead facilitator for SuperCamp. She holds a M.Ed. in Curriculum Development and Instruction, a M.Ed. in Diversified Educational Practices, and a doctorate as a Naturopathic Practitioner.
