About the Event
Artinformal Greenhills presents three new exhibitions this November, featuring Jose Tence Ruiz, Patrick Cruz, and Christina Quisumbing Ramilo. Their shows, opening on the evening of November 11, are on view until December 9.
Not showing any signs of slowing down, Jose Tence Ruiz is literally tongue-in-cheek with largescale works that are social commentaries to today's state of governance, spread of false reportage, and the degradation of our natural environment. Simple metaphors are translated into powerful images in “Ang Liblib na Katuturan ng mga Obrang Walang Saysay” at the Main Gallery.
Whether its something old or something new, Christina Quisumbing Ramilo never fails to impress in her works. Whatever she has waiting for us in "Muscle Memory" in the Big Room will definitely be a lingering experience.
Carving out a niche of his own in Canada, Patrick Cruz dips into his bag of tricks for “Dispassionate Eye” showing at the gallery's Inner Room. What appears to be a quirky mix of lines and colors may be a distanced look into folk culture's fusion with modernity.
